Even though Danielle Strickland was raised in the church, she believed that Christianity was boring and rebellion meant freedom. After leaving home at age 13, Danielle began to live a life filled with criminal activity and eventually ended up in jail. It was through the time spent in jail that she realized true freedom is only found in Christ. Danielle has authored four books and is a highly sought-after speaker. She serves as a Salvation Army officer in Canada – working in a marginalized community in Edmonton, Alberta. She is also a leader for Stop The Traffik – a global anti-human trafficking campaign.
