The world watched and held its breath as an EF4 tornado ripped through the small college town of Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 2011, and changed the life of Carson Tinker forever. Tinker lost his girlfriend, Ashley Harrison, to the storm, but not his faith in God. In the midst of tragedy, Tinker saw love, perseverance, and triumph in a community torn apart by natural disaster. He was a three-time National Champion for the Crimson Tide football team and today is the long snapper for the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars. Tinker’s story has been documented by ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and many others.
